No one likes untidy piles of laundry in their home. The most obvious solution for getting rid of dirty piles is not doing your laundry everyday but buying a good sturdy laundry hamper! So should you go about buying one? Well here are some tips-

It is obviously important to buy a laundry hamper that is convenient to carry around, so make sure it’s sturdy but not too heavy.

Look for a hamper that comes with a canvas bag, this will make it easier for you to carry all the dirty clothes to the laundry room. A laundry hamper with wheels would also be quiet convenient.

Decide where you would be placing the hamper; this will help you decide on its look, color and size. Make sure the look and color of the hamper matches that of your furniture, after all you wouldn’t want the hamper to stand out like a sore thumb in your otherwise perfect room.

In case you intend to keep the hamper in your store room, you shouldn’t have to bother with spending on expensive and decorative ones. You can invest in a simple hamper which can be hung at the back of the door or is made of plastic or mesh type material.

Obviously you would need to buy a large hamper if you have children, but if you have small rooms it would be wiser to invest in two or three small hampers (depending on your family size).
